Horror movies and gangster comedies have been pleasing lovers of Korean cinema for quite a while. Now along comes To Catch a Virgin Ghost which offers an amusing blend of the two beloved genres. Directed by Shin Jung Won, the film adds a new twist to familiar genre tropes. Actor/singer Yim Chang Jung (Sex Is Zero) is in top form as the film's wacky gangster boss.Sok Tae has just completed a robbery with his gang members, but he's not in the mood to share the diamonds that are now under his possession. As a result, he becomes the hot target of gang boss Yang Yi (Yim Chang Jung) who chases him all the way to the desolate town of Sisily, where the residents have prepared a few mysterious surprises for the unsuspecting visitors.
